Two people are dead and two others are wounded after a shooting happened just after midnight outside of a Muldoon bar.
Anchorage police say multiple shots were fired in the parking lot of JJ's Lounge located just off Sixth Avenue and Muldoon Road. Officers found two dead male bodies—one on Muldoon Road and other in the JJ’s parking lot. Another male and a female were found wounded and taken to hospitals. For those who live in the surrounding area, the gunshots seemed like they were headed their way. “It sounded like it was right in front of my house and I had my kids lay on the floor…to make sure the doors were locked, turn off the lights; it was pretty scary. The last shot was like ‘bam!’ and it sounded like someone murdered someone,” said one Muldoon-area resident. Police are interviewing witnesses and searching for the suspect or suspects who remain at large. Additional police units as well as K-9s have been dispatched to the area. “This area is probably going to be closed off for quite a while” as detectives continue to investigate the scene, said Anchorage police spokesman Lt. They promote violence,crime,hate and have no regard for laws.They need to be hearded out of town, like rabid dogs.They aren't wanted or needed. Let them go back to L.A. or Chicago, or New york where ever they crawled out from.

Gee Whiz, I am glad we did not buy a condo in that neck of the woods! Just eating at McDonalds there seemed like eating at a hostile environment. One time I heard a guy state he is from "Muldoon" as if that is a different town, lol. Anyhow, I heard that Muldoon is gang territory which makes Mountain View a more friendlier place to live now. Sheesh...

JJs is a local bar. Heard a lot of assorted information on APD radio online. Lots of good witnesses, lots of clues. APD with very organized and did a fine job coordinating the search and investigations. Interested to hear what all happened. Thinking a bit early, if not overreactive, to talk about counter-terrorism and martial law.

yeah folks shooting each other just police matters...ok..and not full-gear...that is bulky the idea is a good one...and it would enforce law with word of mouth going about soldiers riding shotgun with cops...smell the fear...lol

deploy Soldiers, how about "NOT" militarizing our police forces any more than they already are! posse comitatus used to mean something when our govt obeyed the constitution. when our military starts enforcing civilian law it is called martial law. I took an Oath to uphold the U.S Constitution as did every other member of the military, why would you want the military to break that Oath? it would do nothing to solve social problems to have some trigger happy "Gomer" trying to intimidate the public with his wearing full battle gear. laughable.....

What about the last 6 months of a soldiers duty they can ride shot gun with cops and help out and bring some " uniform " security to USA? They ride with cops dressed in full gear then watch the crime rates drop...
