APD is Looking for Suspects in Muldoon Bar Shooting

A shooting early this morning at JJ's Cocktail Lounge on Muldoon has left two people wounded and two people dead, the Anchorage Police are looking for suspects and answers.

Police are trying to piece together a shooting that left two people dead early Monday morning and two others who were rushed to the hospital. It happened in front of J J’s Cocktail Lounge on Muldoon Road shortly after midnight.

J J’s owner says an argument started inside the bar between a group of people playing pool and two regulars who were sitting at the bar. The group took their discussion to the parking lot and before it was over, two men were dead. A woman and another man were also injured and rushed to the hospital where the woman remains in critical condition.

As of Monday evening, police had made no arrests but did spend the day combing a trailer park directly across from the bar. They were also interviewing several witnesses and awaiting autopsy reports. The names of the victims have not yet been released.
