UPDATE, Wednesday 10:45: Police have found Geraci's car. She returned it on June 8 to the financial institution that held the loan. Her location is still unknown.

ANCHORAGE - Police are asking for the public's help finding 45-year-old Susan Geraci.

Fellow workers at the Ramada Inn last saw Geraci on Tuesday, June 5; she was a no-show and did not call in on Wednesday. That day a neighbor saw her leave her home in the Glencaren Trailer Court in Muldoon near 11 a.m. Her trailer was destroyed by a fire at 3:30 the next morning.

Police describer her as 5' 4" tall, 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. According to a press release, she drives a reddish/orange 2009 2-door Hyundai Accent, license plate GEE856. You're asked to call Anchorage police at 786-8900 if you have information on her location.

*CORRECTION* This article, as well as APD's initial press release, stated Geraci called in sick on Wednesday. She did not call in—she was a no-show to both of her employers at the Ramada Inn and the Lake Shore Motor Hotel.

Does she have family in the lower 48? Did you check flights out of Anchorage? I suppose if I can think of this so could the police. Maybe she just wanted a break and went to visit family. One article said she was depressed due to putting two dogs downs in a month. I might want a break after that too.
