Who did the same thing to the 15 year old? Often they have learned their behavior by experiencing the same abuse.

Training to become another child pervert.Wonder if he dad watches porno and XXXX rated scum films. He deserves the same treament as an adult, he KNEW better, so many teens think because they are juveniles they can get away with less punishment.May not have a good home life, but everyone knows right from wrong.

How can anyone compare this to what happened at university of Duke? Those people are adults! We're talking about a 15 yr old inappropriately touching a 8 and 10 yr old! That's a big age gap. I do hope he gets a fair trail. My heart goes to those two children who have been mentally scared by his actions and took away their innocence! I hope the police will look into his family lifestyle, and has he ever done this to any other children? If he's guilty I really hope the system dose not fail him and the community to make sure he been fully rehabilitated before released back to society. I do believe in second chances but to those repeat offenders out their, there is only one cure for you. If anyone ever did that to my children better pray the police find you before I would! I think repeat offenders should rot in prison till the day they die!

Remember everyone is innocent until proven guilty. I say let the investigators do their investigating and let the chips fall where they may. Two very good points have been made here by other readers. (1) Teenagers who sexually abuse have in some cases been sexually abused themselves and may still be being abused and have never been taught this type of behavior is unacceptable. (2) Let's not forget as one reader pointed out about the lacrosse players who were accused of rape and as it turned out were being falsely accused. I suggest we pray for these families that God will help them to find the help they need to overcome this part of their lives. Whatever the truth may be.

Why are you executing this teen when the investigation has just started. Does anybody remember three University of Duke lacrosse players that were accused of rape. If this person did it, by all means crucify him. But until then, let our fictious justice system attempt to work. I just hope his family has the money to give him a chance at a fair and imparcial trial.

And what would you consider to be 'an eye for an eye' in this case?

My heart goes out to the victims, and as far as the teen that did this bring back the ole test. "an eye for eye", and see how you like it. Because Justice will be handed down, and I for one have no mercy. The People's President has spoken.

Great idea Bob! Let's not hurt children, but go ahead and issue a severe beating to a teenager. Let's hope you're simply ignorant, and not in a position of power. Violence doesn't cure sickness (YOUR word). Chances are VERY strong that this boy was also a victim of sexual abuse. I'm not a 'bleeding heart', but in this case I think punishment needs to be very specific and coupled with as much professional help as possible. This is a young kid, not a hardened criminal. Trust me, as a parent, it's very hard for me to think about too. But let's try to be the civilized community we claim to be.

SICK ! Just sick. I cannot abide anyone that hurts , in any way , children. Daddy needs to take the boy behind the wood shed and severely beat him..And yeah , I can hear the bleeding hearts already. DO NOT waste it on me.

Empathy and Sorrow to the families involved. Encourage these unfortunate victims through recovery. Maybe catching these predators when they are young, will help break the cycle, so don't ridicule them, encourage them to change to break their cycle before its too late and the crime population continues to climb.
