Alaska is famous for fishing and flying, but soon, the Last Frontier will be known for being fabulous.

The Beehive Beauty Shop in Wasilla is showing Alaska in a sparkly, pink-infused light, starting this fall on TLC in a new reality series, Big Hair Alaska.

The salon was first made famous because it was where former Gov. Sarah Palin got her signature 'do.

Hey, send them to Northstar Speedway! Do a series on auto racing in Alaska. I really miss THE MADHOUSE Show.

Another show where drama is created solely for the purpose of being on TV. How sad.

I like Lud Lardon's comment! I doubt they could make the curves of the smallish track; but computers can do amazing things. Seriously, we are taking a step backward by killing this Department. Yea, yea, I know, it costs a lot of money, but the science it produces is incredible. So, yes, lte lud have it for his wonderful little track--then put it on television. If you don't know Lud, you're missing the opportunities of a lifetime. Get up to Wasilla and meet him one Saturday morning--he is one ov the best people I've ever had the chance to meet, and he is a real live characters in Alaska history. He is easy to find: just go to the Napa store in Wasilla and they will direct you!

Obviously, Sarah Palin's look at the Iowa State Fair wasn't anything that they would be proud of. It is almost like you think a bat or mouse should come out of that mess. Maybe Sarah forgot to pack a brush??? Or her one day bus trip got caught in a tornado.
