Suspect Arrested in Stabbing Death (UPDATED)Saturday night stabbing suspect caughtUPDATED Thursday, 9:10 a.m.: Police have arrested Tidiane Kone for the stabbings of Adrian Beaver and Lovie Houston; Beaver died as a result of his injuries. According to police, during their investigation they learned Beaver had an argument earlier Saturday night with a man known as "T." At the crime scene, police found a bike lock and a cell phone, and photos on the cell phone matched the description of the suspect and bicycle witnesses described, as well as a bike lock that looked like the one found at the homicide scene. Detectives found out Kone was on electronic monitoring via Alaska Pre-Trial Services and after checking with Pre-Trial Services they discovered he had been at 11th and Hyder Streets Saturday night about two minutes before the first 911 call. Police arrested Kone and charged him with first-degree murder, two counts of assault and two counts of violation of condition of release. He's being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon at Anchorage Jail Court. UPDATED: The stabbing victim has been identified as 27-year-old Anchorage resident Adrian Beaver. According to police, Beaver and 45-year-old Lovie Houston were walking near 11th and Hyder Saturday night when the suspect approached them and stabbed them both. Beaver died as a result of his wounds and Houston was stabbed in the neck, and later treated and released. This is the 12th homicide of the year, according to APD. ANCHORAGE - Police are looking for a suspect in a stabbing murder that occurred about 10:41 p.m. Saturday night. The suspect stabbed two men at 11th and Hyder; one was killed and another was treated and released at a local hospital. The murder victim has not been positively ID’d. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black man in his late 30s, 5’8” tall and about 180 pounds, wearing a tan Carhartt jacket, light tan pants and yellowish boots. He wore a black baseball cap with a white “P” and has either short hair or a shaved head, and talks with a heavy accent, described as African or Jamaican. He was riding a woman’s mountain bike, black with grey lettering and a rear red flashing light. Police say the suspect was last seen riding north on Gambell Street, and is known to frequent the Fairview area. Anchorage Police ask anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to call 786-8900 immediately. |

Hope they catch this person. Fast being dark skinned doesn't mean anything there's a wide ranger of races that fix that

Just another day in Los Anchorage. Anyone else notice that most major crime here happen in Downtown, Mountain view, Fairview, Fireweed, and Spenard. These also include the poorest people in the city.
