UPDATE, Wednesday, July 25 - Police have identified the man whose body was found dead in Ship Creek Tuesday as that of 35-year-old Anchorage resident Jack A. Harshfield. Next of kin have been notified, according to a press release, and no evidence of foul play was found at the scene.

ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police responded to a call at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday of a male in his mid-30s floating facedown in Ship Creek near the Bridge Restaurant. The fire department opened a sluice gate to recover the body near the pedestrian bridge. Police say there is no immediate sign of foul play. At 8:30 a.m. the medical examiner arrived to take the body. Police said in a press release they do not believe the victim was living on the street.

it was rumored that this man was found in the creek but at the crossingat the glenn.it was also rumored that he was a victim of a black widow.rumors and police make for more gossip than a girls bathroom at the local highschool.

nothing is surprising...lots of weird/suspicious activity there...just keep following the creek east, you'll see more questionable activities with questionable looking people.
