Internet dating has become very popular, but Anchorage police warn it is not without it's dangers.
Earlier this week, police arrested 31-year-old Keith Tracey after a 19-year-old woman who met him online said she was attacked in an Anchorage hotel room. Police say Tracey, who is from the village of Point Lay, bought the young woman a ticket to Anchorage from her home in rural Alaska where the two planned to meet for a weekend "date." “All of a sudden she said something that set him off and he actually strangled her to the point where she thought she was going to die. He beat her and then he sexually assaulted her and she was able to get away from him and get out and get help from the police,” said Anchorage police spokesperson Lt. Dave Parker. Police encourage online daters to always meet in a public place when you are starting to get to know them. |

Anyone who seeks dates on the internet is asking for trouble.That is the LARGEST area of for the perverts to roam,and seek victims.No one is so lonely,that they have to resort to this.Try meeting someone at church,work place,local (decent) clubs.) While no one has the right to try and force themselves on another person, alot of times the victim is NOT using "COMMON SENSE".This is a wicked time in America and you should use caution, trust no one.
