"It's a break from the winter. There's palm trees, eighty four degree water, tee shirts," said H2Oasis owner Dennis Pendeville.
For many, a trip to Hawaii is sounding really good right about
now, but if that's not an option, there's some beach weather right here in town."It's certainly a way to take a little, mini vacation and have a good time without the big airfare expense and hotel and everything else," said Pendeville.
And it's a whooping one hundred degrees warmer in here than it is outside so you can shed the layers and get wet without worry.
Besides basking in the tropical warmth, I tried out the new addition to the water park. The monster 370-foot long slide that winds you up and spits you out in a quick but thrilling 15-seconds. The master blaster is the other big slide. Grab a tube and hold on tight!
To slow it down, they've got the river walk around the lazy river and little ones are all about climbing and slashing during the parent, toddler hours.
Even the owner can't wait to warm up at the end of the day.
"Sometimes I'll come in here at night and jump in the hot tub," a jovial Pendeville quipped.
Every afternoon and weekend H2Oasis is a wild water park, but there are several activates for all ages throughout the mornings.
Whether your thing is getting some speed or just getting a break from the cold, H2Oasis just might be the pick-me-up you need this winter.
I've had my
time in paradise for today. Hope you can get out and enjoy the warmth here at H2Oasis some time this winter. For more information visit H2Oasis online. If you have a get out idea for Mitch send him an email.
