Eating ice cream the fastest

By KTVA Alaska 6:05 PM March 1, 2014

Fur Rondy ice cream eating contest

ANCHORAGE- How fast can you eat ice cream?

That’s the question answered at the first ever Fur Rondy Ice Cream Eating Contest.

Participants rushed to be the first person to eat 16 ounces of ice cream.

The only tool they had was a spoon.

Organizers said it might be worth the brain freeze if you win.

The winners walked away with cash in their hands.

“I’m known to eat ice cream very quick within my family and so as soon as I heard about this I definitely knew that I could win,” said Carson Baldiviez, who came in first place.

Carson finished the challenge in less than four minutes and is $100 richer.
