Earthquake jolts Southcentral Alaska

ANCHORAGE –

An earthquake registering 5.8 hit south central Alaska this morning just after 6:15 a.m.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake was centered about 19 miles northwest of Anchor Point.

There have been no reports of any damage.

The USGS says there is no tsunami danger from the quake,
