Diner plans Thanksgiving fundraiser

Kriner's Diner serving free meal to benefit Children's Lunchbox

ANCHORAGE – A local diner plans on serving a free Thanksgiving feast Thursday to benefit an Anchorage children’s charity.

Ken Miller, development director for Bean’s Cafe and The Children’s Lunchbox, said his nonprofit is partnering with Kriner’s Diner to host the afternoon fundraiser. Alaskans can enjoy free turkey, mashed potatoes and all the fixings, and make a donation to The Children’s Lunchbox.

The meal runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.
