If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, you may want to head north to Denali.
Thanks to a recent stretch of warm weather, the park’s road will be open to visitors starting Friday at 8 a.m. You can drive all the way to Mile 30, the Teklanika Rest Area. You can even cross-country ski and snowshoe, but not for long because the snow is melting quickly.
Road crews have seen a lot of animals, including moose, caribou, Dall sheep, eagles and even a wolf. But no bears quite yet. Click here for more info.
And a quick mention, entrance to all national parks is free this weekend as part of National Park Week.
