Anchorage police have identified the man who died of gunshot wounds in a South Anchorage apartment on Saturday morning.

Benjamin F. Guinto Jr., 30, was found dead in the lower-level of an apartment complex at 3640 W. Dimond Blvd.

Detectives are now investigating this death as a homicide.
