For the sixth year, the Thanksgiving Blessing Project provides the food, including a turkey and all the trimmings, to make a complete Thanksgiving meal for families in need.

Thousands of volunteers in the faith community and Food Bank of Alaska expect to serve 6,300 families at eight distribution sites in Anchorage and Eagle River.

WHO: Food Bank of Alaska and the faith-based community have partnered in an effort to provide a Thanksgiving meal for all Anchorage residents.

WHEN: Set up will take place at all sites on Sunday, November 22nd starting at 12:45 pm at Crosspoint Church. Set up times are different for each site. Distribution will take place Monday November 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

WHERE: There are eight distribution sites in Anchorage and Eagle River.

Families are asked to go to one distribution site based on their residence ZIP code and bring ID and proof of ZIP code. Proof of income is not necessary.
