The Federal Subsistence Board is accepting membership applications or nominations through January 8, 2010 for the 10 Federal Subsistence Regional Advisory Councils.
The Regional Advisory Councils provide advice and recommendations to the Federal Subsistence Board about subsistence hunting, trapping, and fishing issues on Federal public lands. Membership on the Councils is one way for the public to become involved in the Federal regulatory process.
Each Council has either 10 or 13 members, and membership includes subsistence use representatives and commercial/sport use representatives.
