All cold things must come to an end and our cold snap is about to be broken. Temperatures will remain steady overnight and by Sunday Temperatures will be back in the 20s and we could even pick up a little fresh snow this weekend.

Speaking of snow we could sure use the snow! Here in Anchorage we've only seen 2.6 inches of snow so far and we are now 13.2 inches behind for the year. Not everyone has been left out, though...Eaglecrest Ski Area outside of Juneau has picked up 47 inches of snow in the past 8 days!

Some of the snow my finally come our way again this weekend. Homer has already seen some light snow this evening and we could begin to see light snow in Anchorage overnight. On Saturday we will have light snow showers at times with 1 to 3 inches of snow possible. Highs will warm into the upper teens to mid 20s. Sunday and Monday will be mostly cloudy with isolated snow showers and highs in the 20s. Tuesday will be quiet with clouds and sunshine and highs remaining in the 20s. Wednesday we could see some more snow heading our way with snow shower and temperatures in the 20s. Thanksgiving and Friday will be mostly cloudy with highs again in the 20s. Have a great weekend!!
