Before I go along with ANY kind of tax in this state, the Government needs to get a handle on union contracts, vesting and over-generous retirement benefits, cut the Alaska State Highway Marine ferry system, let that be a private enterprise, just a few suggestions. This bloated State govt needs to cut cut cut period. You tax & spend Democrats want to pay for it, that's fine w/me, let them tax your income but leave me out of it, including any services the state can help me out with. I want no part of Government services, unless it's state wildlife mgmt, fire dept, police, taking care of the old folks and road maintenance. Anything more than that is a waste of $$. I've had it up to here with Government intrusion in my life and pocketbook. This idiotic HC bill is going to bankrupt the country. Hiring 16,500 IRS employees has to be for a reason. Also, California's feather bed is now filled with tax and spend Democrat bedbugs and Californians are now laying in it. We don't want that up here.3/19/10  4:16 PM
