A sunny start to the work week
    Brett Shepard
02/08/2010 - A beautiful day in Anchorage with lots of new snow and some sunshine, but the clouds will return overnight.

Snow to impact Anchorage through the weekend
02/05/2010 - The ingredients needed for a winter storm are all coming together. Moderate snowfall during the morning hours coated the Bowl in 2 to 4 inches of snow. And more is on the way. Click on the photo for all your weather details.

    • mike - Businessman accused of not paying employees, state unable to force payment - KTVA

Why isn't he being prosecuted for fraud? It is apparent based on his history that he most likely makes commitments and contracts without intent to honor them.

    • mike - Paying Big For Palin - KTVA

Correcting the damage to the country and world caused by the conservatives will take years, not months. The PRESIDENT is trying to fix the mess. It would be nice if those who equated criticism of the previous President with treason and lack of patriotism, would support the current President of ALL Americans as patriotically. Or at least offer constructive solutions to things like poor health care, corporate thieves, unjust and impossible-to-win wars and other leftovers from Bush.

Historically, legislators and voters are lousy biologists. That is why the state hires professional for those tasks.

    • dblshot - Palin: I\'d Run for President If It\'s Right for U.S.here - KTVA

I didn't hear too many complaints when she handed out an addtional $1,200 to the 2008 PFD. Now, all of a sudden, all these haters get on here and have no better way to make themselves feel better than to cut down, deride, insult, and put inflamatory crap on here. Too bad thats all you have to do to make yourselves feel better!

Current gas tax structure could cost state more than $1 billion
Lawmakers primarily focusing on oil rates when they redefined the state's oil and gas tax structure known as Alaska's Clear and Equitable Share, ACES, could leave the state short more than $1 billion tax dollars, by some estimates, if a gasline successfully moves forward this year.
