Friday night, CBS 11, along with other local television stations, will air the national Stand Up to Cancer Telethon.

CBS, NBC and ABC are all donating one hour of commercial-free time for the fundraising event. All money raised will bypass the normal procedures and go directly to groundbreaking cancer research.
