Arrest made in Mountain View stabbing

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

ANCHORAGE – Police believe alcohol was a factor in a stabbing in Mountain View early Monday morning.

Annie Matson, 26, was arrested on a charge of third-degree assault. According to a statement from the Anchorage Police Department, Matson allegedly stabbed a man in the same residence after the two got into a fight.

Officers responded to the home on the 200 block of North Park Street around 1:15 a.m., and the victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

    An inmate assaulted a corrections officer at Spring Creek Friday night. According to troopers, the assault happened at the correctional center around 9:15 Friday.
