Why would a gay or lesbian person be offended by my comment? I'm pretty sure if you read my comment you would realize that I was stating that this set of posts should be to honor the families and friends of the wonderful men and women killed. Instead frank thought that it was appropriate to blast politics and his psychotic view into it. I have gay and lesbian friends and this wouldn't bother them, perhaps it does offend stupid gay and lesbian people, but not ones that know how to read and understand english. Anyway, my post was not meant to offend anyone, including frank, despite the name. It was meant to prove a point that this isn't the correct forum to blab about conspiracies.7/29/10  8:52 PM

Unfortunately, new rules, regulations, and flight manual procedures are written and validated in blood. So sad - my prayers go out to the families of these crewmembers.7/29/10  8:10 PM

My heart goes out to the families of the crew members on board the C-17. No matter how advanced these ircraft are, accidents happen. These brave heros do what they do best, serving our great country whether it be in war or for our enjoyment. God in his all perfectness still loves and protects his children. God, pour your spirit into the families, giving them peace in their time of loss.7/29/10  7:42 PM

It's a huge plane with many advanced technologies onboard, but ... even God is not perfect. My prayers to the crew men. Infokey.com, Alaska's own search engine.7/29/10  7:31 PM

  • R Willson - C-17 Crashes At Elmendorf Air Force Base - KTVA
Many years ago at an Elmendorf Show, I saw a plane (B57?) slow fly past, and crash at the east end of the field, killing both the pilots I'd just seen go by. I thought it was a shame that they had to risk their lives to convince us to support the Air Force so that they could protect our lives. Another time a C130 doing a left 360 came back with a spruce treetop in its wing. Another time a flight of fighters returning from winning a trophy were ordered to do the old 360 upon landing, one ran clear out of fuel over the inlet and has never been found. And I still remember a classmate who took off in a P38, got his target, and it got him. Next time you say Patriot, or American, remember these Americans. Please.7/29/10  7:11 PM
