There is a definite nature way in everything...from beaches to wilderness situations etc. Anchorage an urban fairly large city has to many moose in an urban situation. This type of in the air killing makes Alaska look stupid.. certainly some of the political people there have done their bit in this as well. The amount of money spent on this situation is foolish of course it is to bring the non abilty type of hunter and trophy person to come to Alaska..nothing more Nature has a well worked out plan as to prey and pradator situations much better than human species can ever do. Alaska like most places today has many problems they need to address...the price of gasoline even when drilling much oil...declining employment situations..lots of crime situations..etc.3/18/107:16 PM
Guest - Alaskan homeowner beats up burglar - KTVA These two guys tried to do an armed robbery. Why would the culprits get light sentence's with suspended time? If they could have got a better gun would they have brought it ? It would seem under this type of home invasion the people in the house could have justified shooting these kids. This could have gone way worse for all involved. Slap on the wrist and don't do it again. Kudos to the prosecutors.3/18/107:08 PM
shannon - Police say teacher taught oral sex to 14-Year-Old - KTVA When my 2 girls were in 5th grade, the public school district allowed parents to preview the "Sex ED" material that was going to be presented. I already knew that I was not going to allow them to teach my children immoral behavior but I did want to see the curriculum as to warn other parents. Only 5 parents showed up to look at the material. And guess what? One of the topics to teach our 5th grade children was about oral sex because of the aids epidemic and how to use suranwrap as a barrier for oral sex. I was there folks, this is not a lie. I ended up homeschooling and would never consider placing a child in the hands of the GOV to raise. Can't believe all you people are surprised that this is even happening in our local schools. That 14 year old is not as innocent as you think ! And that teacher is guilty too.3/18/107:06 PM
