I wish that he had thought of what he'd say before this. "I look at her in disgust." This coming from a 19 year old who has just posed for Playgirl? He would have been batter off turning off the TV (or looking at a pretend text message) and saying, "I have things to do." It could have been to go to a charity board or something so he could shine some light on a good cause. Palin would have been better off simply saying, "Custody battles jerk people's chains on a biological level. We have an adversarial relationship and it would be nice if we could lay down our arms and celebrate Thanksgivng and Aunt Katies' house. The invitation is out there, hopefully he will give us a heads up!" That would be so classy and admirable.
Just do not jump to conclusions, But there are over 100 5 bedroom assisted living homes in this town. So... also the head line is miss leading there is a huge difference between a nursing home and an assisted living home..
If you aren't installing a subdivision nor erecting an edifice of concrete in south anchorage it is likely you are not paying the market prices of the "labor, market-priced contracts" since you are not purchasing permits. So, don't buy any building permits and you should be fine. On the other hand, if you desire to be priviliged to install a permanent public facility taking full advantage of Alaska's light and paint choices, the community of Anchorage would like you to adhere to best installations practices and the minimum adopted by the state and local government safety building codes for best results; so would your financial institution(s). We like to make sure that minimum safety codes as adopted by the state of alaska and the municipality of anchorage are actually installed. This enforcement mission, i suppose cannot be free or even cheap, or the enforcement be made to vanish for safety sake. The market indicates the "prices". Have a very safe day of good investments - real estate and otherwise.
Let's go with ONLY electing CPA's on the Anchorage local governing body. That way we will ensure that the correct financial questions get asked and internal financial controls will NOT be abandoned as I believe they significantly have been abandoned by those who are not CPA's under administrations previous to Begich. We would have a distinctly different city if ONLY CPA's were seated as representatives. Unfortunately, the bean counters won't run AND they would take the work product of attorney's with a healthy grain of "salt" unlike some of our current interested parties who do not have the discipline to prepare for nor sit for a CPA exam and licensure procedures. More's the pity.
A local union donated its services to the Salvation Army by installing new flooring in one of thier buildings, but it's not just the Salvation Army that benefits.
While some legislators are calling for an in-state "bullet" line to ship North Slope gas to Southcentral Alaska, Enstar is saying the line won't come in time to solve the supply problems
