As the Aces head to Idaho, goalie Olivier Roy named ECHL Goaltender of the Week
ANCHORAGE – After back-to-back shootouts, Alaska Aces goalie Olivier Roy was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Week.
It’s the third time Roy has won the award. So far, the goalie is 3 and 4 with the Aces and tied for third in the league for goals against average. He’s still on the road with the Aces this week, heading to Idaho before the team returns to Anchorage.
The Idaho games begin Wednesday night, and the Aces will be back in Alaska Dec. 18 to play Utah.
Currently, Ontario sits at the top of the conference standings with a 15-3 record. Aces division rival Colorado stands in second with 13-6 so far this season.
