Aces announce home playoff dates

ANCHORAGE –

The Alaska Aces announced Tuesday they are slated to open the Kelly Cup playoffs.

Game one of the Western Conference quarterfinal is Friday, April 18 at the Sullivan Arena, a release said. The puck drops at 7:15 p.m., kicking off a set of four home dates confirmed at the Sully.

With last Friday’s win over the Las Vegas Wranglers, the Aces claimed the Mountain Division title in the conference. They are guaranteed home ice advantage in the opening round.

Schedule for the best-of-seven series:

  • Game one: Friday, April 18 (Sullivan Arena) — 7:15 p.m.
  • Game two: Saturday, April 19 (Sullivan Arena) — 7:15 p.m.
  • Game three: TBA
  • Game four: TBA
  • Game five: TBA (if necessary)
  • Game six: Monday, April 28 (Sullivan Arena) – 7:15 p.m. (if necessary)
  • Game seven: Tuesday, April 29 (Sullivan Arena) – 7:15 p.m. (if necessary)

The Aces’ opponent in the first round and times and dates for games three-five will be announced soon, the release said. Tickets for all playoff home games will go on sale Monday, April 7. Playoff ticket packages are also available now.
